TECH WEEKLY: How McLaren’s major Miami upgrade helped Norris secure his debut F1 win

Mark Hughes and Giorgio PiolaLando Norris’ victory in the Miami Grand Prix would not have been feasible without the major upgrade, which was made to the McLaren prior to the weekend.
The extra performance of the new car was crucial – that was the avowed judgement of Team Principal Andrea Stella. It was by far the biggest upgrade any team has brought so far this season and was originally intended for introduction at Imola in two weeks’ time.
